Recent Reunions

We had the wonderful opportunity to visit with Brown Bear and his family recently. He has grown up so much, but once again we enjoyed hearing him laugh and show off his unique personality.

Also, Turtle and Monkey showed up one day to pick up Rabbit for a special dance that they were going to together. We took advantage of the opportunity and snapped a quick shot of my kids, the current cubs and two of our former cubs all together. It was a pretty special moment on a very sunny day.

State of the Den

A lot has been going on around the den the past few months. (I promise we haven't been hibernating.) In the words of our visitor Peacock, "We're going on an adventur!" We have been actively seeking new cubs to care for & nurture.

Meet Our Cubs

We haven't been updating in a while because the cubs have kept us busy. Here's a taste of what we've been up to! Hope you enjoy it! :)

The Importance Of Wearing Light Colored Clothing

Yesterday, we were caring for "Monkey," who is our latest cub to join the pride. She's also the first cub we cared for this year, if you can figure that out! K-bird was getting her dressed after she arrived in her pajamas.

Of her black pants, Monkey said, "My legs are scared of their pants, 'cause it's dark in there!"

K-bird replied, "Well, what about your shirt? Are your arms scared of your shirt?"

"No, 'cause it's pink and they're not scared of pink."

Strange, but that makes sense!
